Lions Club International Convention Milan 2019
This year a huge event of international importance will be held in the city of Milan from the 5th to 9th July 2019: THE LIONS CLUB INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION.
But who are these Lions?
The Lions Club international is a humanitarian association upon invite, created in 1917, that gathers all its international members once a year, counting more than 20.000 people. This year the gathering is happening right in Milan!
The slogan and mission of the association is based on its core values: “Liberty, Intelligence, Our Nation’s Safety”. The emblem instead is formed by a golden L, inside a blue circular area displaying two lion heads, again representing the core values of the association, enhancing the fierceness of what done in the past and the hope for what is to come in the future.
And what do Lions do exactly?
The goal of this association is to serve the community through its volunteers, satisfy the human needs and promote peace and an international understanding within the club; theme that is more than current nowadays!
